Sharon has been a member of AIM's Board of Directors since 2001. She has served as Chair of the Marketing Committee and a member of the Investment/Audit, Underwriting, Personnel and Executive Committees. In 2019, Sharon was appointed President & Claims Counsel for AIM.

Sharon loves to play golf.

Ben joined the AIM team in September 2023. He is a graduate of Mercer University and Mercer University School of Law. He has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 2003. After a stint in private practice, he began his career helping lawyers protect their practices against allegations of malpractice and bar complaints. He started at the former Georgia bar-related insurance company (Georgia Lawyers Insurance Company), and throughout his career, he has served in various underwriting, claims, and business development roles.

Fun Fact About Ben

Being a “Double Bear” alum from both Mercer and Mercer Law, Ben and his family try make it to every homecoming game. His sons’ mission is to track down Toby the mascot to get their picture with him.  

Sandi originally joined the AIM team in 1991; however, AIM allowed her to stay with her children on a part-time basis as an auditor and stand-in accountant. She then returned to AIM full-time in 2016 as Controller. As Controller, Sandi prepares the annual and quarterly financial statements and manages payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Nancy joined the AIM team in 2019 and serves as Underwriting Assistant.

"Travel is my favorite—I love experiencing new places. And my three girls have caught the bug. My oldest lives in Denver, my middle is in Kansas and my youngest is graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy and will be stationed in Everett, Washington."

Tammy joined the AIM team in 2022; however, she has worked with Sharon since 2017.  Tammy is the executive assistant to the President and Claims Counsel. She works with insureds who have claims, handles CLE, and assists with the day-to-day administration of the company.

Tammy loves pink, especially flamingos.

Shannon joined AIM in January of 2023. Prior to being the Marketing Coordinator for AIM, she was a licensed employee benefits counselor for life and health insurance companies. She has professional experience as a publicist, with media relations and marketing communications.

My office happens to be in the heart of AIM’s underwriting department. It’s impressive listening to the staff take care of our insureds.

Fun Fact About Shannon

I have two teenage sons and a husband who keep me on my toes – literally – they are all tall and I’m not. I love snow skiing, outdoor concerts, Ole Miss, New Orleans City Park, dinner out with my girlfriends, airplane landings, walking in the woods, big dogs, and always learning from the sharpest people I can find. 

Susie joined the AIM team in August of 2022 and serves as the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant
